B-pillars glossy or matte?

Based on the BMW configurator, and some anecdotal photos, it seems to me that the B-pillars are glossy black if the car has either the M-sport package or the chrome line trim; otherwise they are matte black. Is my assessment correct?

What other parts are Shawdow Line trim on the M Sport? Is the lower edge of the window trim also gloss black? I thought shawdow Line mean black chrome... no? is it just gloss black?

I think my xLine w/ Chrome Line also has glossy black B-pillars. I'll check and report back if otherwise.
