sidemarkers question

i was thinking of changing the stock orange looking sidemarkers because they were, lets say "ugly"

well then i found some clear corner sidemarkers for like 30 dollars, and the PIAA blue bulb that shines a white light.

i was wondering if anyone has the knowledge of installing these clear sidemarkers that could help me out.

I just changed my side markers on my 2000 540i a few minutes ago. Just push the lite foreward and pull it out at the rear.

Hi Pat... just wondering, how did you get inside the fender to push forward the light? Did you have to remove the plastic gaurd from the inside of the wheel housing to get in there? Thank you very much.

The sidemarkers can be removed from the outside, just push on the lens forward (if it sticks, cover a flat screwdriver with rag and push/pry it out)
