Gorgeous moving art!--They have to call it an L-4 rather than a V-4 just because they can?:confused:http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=33733&stc=1

I have very little knowledge on motorbikes, but the 200hp on a street legal bike sounded pretty impressive. Hence my posting.

It is! A friend of mine got an R1 a few weeks ago, and I practically passed out when he mentioned it has 180hp. And weighs a few hundred pounds. :yikes:

Ask him if you can ride it.
I guarantee you that you'd rather have the R6. :p

I actually rode next to a VFR Honda the other day... it sounded really cool with a semi-uncorked exhaust. Sort of like a Cosworth DFV.

Hmmm...let's see....top speed on the island is 45mph and that's just one short stretch...one end of the paved road to the other end might be ten miles give or take........
pretty gosh darn quick, I'd say!!
