: Removing old and excessive old water spots!

Just got a car detailed at a car wash center this weekend, and to such my fear, I discover MANY old water spots that have been left.

I must have left my car unwashed for several MONTHS after it rained the very last time! This is awful! My FAULT. ARGGG

My question is, is it possible or easy to remove very old water spots? I plan to send the car to a buff wax treatment this coming weekend.

It's possible.

You need a higher end detail performed.

If the spots are not that bad, buffing wouldn't be enough?

I manage a detail shop and water stains/spots will come out. You may have to use a harsh compound and then finish with a light compound.
We use Power cut for a harsh compound and GS-1 for our finishing compound.
