Front License Plate Removal

Just got my BMW Friday night after a long trip over from Germany. Anyone know where there is a DIY to remove the front license plate? I just picked up the replacement trim piece from the local dealer.

Just got my BMW Friday night after a long trip over from Germany. Anyone know where there is a DIY to remove the front license plate? I just picked up the replacement trim piece from the local dealer.

On a ’04 325 sedan, the piece simply snaps out. Pull one end of it until it pops out, the rest you simply keep pulling. Once you have removed the OEM part, align the holes in the bumper with the inserts on the strip and snap into place. :thumbup:

Maybe someone can add more to it, but it really is quite simple. :)

Thanks. That was the one I saw many months ago. I got the part today and was worried about the tabs on the left and right side.
