I was at Walden Galleria in Buffalo NY today and look at the parking spot I found. Right by the door too. At first I thought it was a handicap spot but the logo was painted over. I had a no-worries shopping day. :bigpimp:

I recall a year or so ago I found a similar spot that had been once a handicap but was no longer...
Upon returned to my vehicle a handicap person started yelling/complaining to me that I wasn't handicapped, of course I informed him...... :)
But yes perhaps all stores should have in addition to handicap spots, luxury car spots lol.

Sure, no problem. All you gotta do is drive your *** all the way out here! :p
Seriously, I love these spots as well.

At the Holyoke Mall near me, you'd find about 6 cars crammed into those "yellow stripe" areas when you came back out.

Out here, they make the freakin' spots unusually small it's not even funny. Lots are always jammed and invariably, the only spot available is between two hulkin' SUV's. You know their fat little kid is going to come out and whip the door open into your car. So many times, you can't even find a spot in the boonies to avoid door dings.

Depends on where you go. I've found underground parking in back at fashion is the key non-disabled spots. You gotta troll but eventually you can find a spot with a big pillar and snuggle up close to it.

I work in RB but live in Mission Hills. I have a private space at home but out in RB, it's a mess. The spots are teeny and the 'burbs are SUV ground zero. I drive people nuts when we go out for lunch because I park so far away from the restaurant, you practically have to take a cab to get to the door.

F 'em. I know the feeling. I usually offer to drop people off at the door if they don't want to walk. They decline but still think I am nuts. :p

I do that too. I so wish I still lived in Mission Hills though... :( Bought a place in college area a couple years back. But man do I miss Mision Hills. It's easy to get to anywhere in SD from that area.

I moved here from Austin about a year ago. When I was out on my house hunting trip, I was getting very depressed, very quickly. Most places I saw were fugly and I need not tell you what I thought about the prices. I looked everywhere between downtown and RB but finally found a brand new loft and pounced; I couldn't sign the papers fast enough. I can walk just about everywhere which is very nice. Now if I could just get the people at The Lamplighter to shut the f up when they roll out of the bar at 2:00 am, I'd be all set! :)

Here's another great parking spot. This one is in front of a Tim Hortons.

*sigh*, my car is a little over one year old, about 8000 miles on it, and already has two massive door dings, complete with scraped paint, dented sheetmetal, and mangled trim -- one on each side. I almost always look for "protected" parking, but on the few times I haven't I've managed to park next to what are apparently the biggest jerks on the planet. Somebody must have slammed their door, very hard, into my car to make the dents. How does this happen? Why is it not legal to hire people to track down and create a dent of similar size in the guilty party's forehead? Sorry, done with off-topic rant.
