Our friends at AutoSpies.com snapped some great pictures of the San Diego Auto Show and were nice enough to share some of their best BMW shots with us. Check out this 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in Ruby Black. The pictures do not do this color justice.

Love the color. I always found bmw lacking a red-black from their palette. I hope the next M3 is offered with this color.

I really like ruby black, and it looks great with the amaro brown interior. Bmw really has some great individual colors.

Ruby Black was my second choice...and a tough one at that, without being able to see these colors before ordering. Gorgeous....

If this color were available when I ordered my 2012 F10, I would have snapped it up in a heartbeat.

You could have had it on the 5er as a special order. If you are interested and will be at next month's NJ Chapter CCA meeting, find me and I can explain further. (Unless you are in South Jersey and the DelVal Chapter, in which case you'll never find me!)

I was able to order a US 2011 individual (paint only) Ruby Black 335i convertible (more photos here (http://garage.bimmerfest.com/user.php?action=viewusercar&UcId=12038), see original thread here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=465960)) through Passport BMW in Maryland. Picked it up in Munich in June 2010 via European Delivery Program. It is REALLY hard to photograph this color well, as it changes in every lighting condition and from every angle. It looks great in person, especially in sunlight; see paint close-up below showing sparkles in paint (called "xirallic pigments"). In shade, I would describe it as "warm black," can't see the ruby or sparkles at all.

STUNNING!!! Congrats on the nicest 335 Vert I've ever seen!. Now slap some nice shoes on her, and you will be complete.

Thanks, Marcus, for the kind words.

I will say the 18" sport package wheels (Style 342) do look better in person than in photos. I use Rial Como as my winter wheels, here is a photo on somebody else's car:

I believe that's Cinnamon, not Amaro, can anyone confirm that?

I think it's Cinnamon Brown interior since the seat don't have the white piping nor the extended leather on the doors but still a great combo nonetheless.
