View Full Version : Did somebody want to see the seats?
I finally took delivery today (well, okay, only one day late) and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Bluetooth worked and Sirius was installed! The new low-profile antennas apparently came off backorder in the last day or so and they were able to sneak it in for me.
I recall someone asking to see the seats. Ask, and ye shall receive. :)

Beautiful interior! I love it. Take good care of that leather, I've seen some cars where the seating surfaces turn dark/black.

Can you post a picture of this? Anybody have a part #? If it looks good, I would consider replacing the long antenna that is standard on my non-nav 323i.

What Chicago area dealer did you buy the M3 from?

This like bad sex. You really need to post more pics so we are completely satisfied. Pic of the antenna, the tires and rims, side view, front view, rear view. Why do some of the Ms have a little nubby chrome shifter and others have a longer shifter that looks like that in the ZHP? Now stop driving and take those pics! :)

Stubby little shifter is for SMG, longer shifter is conventional manual.

Alright, here's a few more, some new, some from the delivery-day archives. I've yet to have the chance to take her to some picturesque spot for some REAL pics, so these'll have to do for now. :p
In the first picture I've highlighted the Sirius antenna. Because they installed it without telling me they had the parts and were going to do the install that day, I didn't have a chance to tell them I wanted the antenna on the rear deck. I've decided it would've looked fine on the trunklid if they had tucked away more of the wire and put the mouse closer to the rear window ... but either way, I'm going to have to do something about it.
Please excuse the miserable sodium lighting and generally poor surroundings for these pictures. :)

Man, that red leather is sexy as Hell....do you get the urge to drive it while naked?
(or at least a "Ted Kennedy"....sans pantalones....)

When you say installed, do you mean the BT and Sirius were installed at the factory or by the dealer?
Nice car btw

Thanks ... yeah, I meant by the dealer. There's definitely no way to order Sirius as a factory option and I don't think there's a way to do it with Bluetooth in the U.S. for 2004 - but I assume this will change in 05 when the new Assist module shows up with integrated BT.

Yes, I do. In fact, you can't engage S6 mode on the SMG unless you turn DSC off and disrobe.
nice seats, bro.
