My '97 has the stock four spoke steering wheel. The leather on the top of it is almost entirely worn away. I'm about to break down and go buy one of those Wheelskins covers, but I'd prefer not to from an aesthetic standpoint. Can my stock wheel be re-wrapped in leather, or preferably alcantra? Anyone got a ballpark price on doing so? Thanks.

We did a three spoke wheel in alcantara with added padding. Pricing would be in the neighborhood of $400.00 using your wheel.

Thanks for the reply Andy. The alantra wheel is beautiful. Unfortunately the price is a bit out of my range though.
Edit: Picked this up a black leather Wheelskins wrap this afternoon and stiched it on. Stitching looks fine, and it looks much better than the Pep Boys/Wal-mart variety, but I still don't like it. It'll have to do for now, though. Time to start saving for an M3 wheel/airbag.

We are bringing that wheel to Homecoming in case anyone wants to see it in real life. Looks a lot nicer in real life than in those pics.
