Actually, that guy posted pictures here a few months ago of his work in progress. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, but he was quite proud of it. He tried to explain in his Euro terms how they feel differently about mods than we might. For better or worse, all his mods were done well, at least from the craftsmanship point of view.

German bling cars are not for me, but I do like 60s and 70s American cars and Hot Rod customizing.

Reminds me of the VW boards over in Germany. You see lots of Golfs slammed with 8" wheels that are 12" wide! In fact, that seems to be the predominate style... yet you rarely see that here. In the US, the bigger the wheel, the better... not smaller.

Even withing the same country, you have different "cultures". Just look at your "sport compact tuners" compared to your "hot rodders" compared to your "bimmerfesters".
