Any review of Air Berlin? I will be using it from LAX to MUC next month.

For a discount airline, they are not bad at all. Similar to Southwest or AirTran in the US. Much better than RyanAir.

Good to know, do you know if we have early return fright (6:15am) from MUC, can we do early check-in (check in luggage) the day before?

I flew that route DUS-LAX, and the service was good. I wished they turned off the cabin lights (fluorescent lights for 14 hours...)

This was when they started code sharing with AA, so they may have changed since then.

Good airline with modern planes which are really young in age. They had no serious accident within the past 35 years, very reliable and mostly on time.
Only one complain that I have is the space between the seatrows in economy class, that is supposed to be a bit more. We fly with AB in July from DUS to RSW /Florida and we are already full of anticipation.
