Will 255/40-17 Victoracers fit a 17 x 8 wheel? I'm trying to decide if I can get away with buying a set of 17x8 wheels or if I need to get a set of 17x9's.

Kumho lists a recommended rim width range of 8.5-10". It may fit an 8", but performance will likely be affected at this point.

If any others have experience with this, please feel free to add it! :D
