I'm new to this forum and I'd appreciate any help / advice. The lease on my 330i is about to come due and I think I'm going to lease a new X3 3.0. I drive stick and - unless someone tells me otherwise - I plan on getting the car in manual.
Here's my main concern: I understand that I cannot get the Premium Sound System, Sirius Satelite, iPod compatibility and Navigation in the same car. I'm not sure I can explain why but presuming this is true, what do I want to do? Drop the Nav? Drop the iPod? Do I need the better sound system?
Also, I'm trying to decide between Alpine White, Blue Water Silver and Flamenco Red - each with a Sand Leather interior. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Drop the overprice $1,800 NAV and put that into a better sound system (not the BMW enhanced). I've never heard it, but I've never heard a "stock" sound system sound better than what you can get after-market. I am using the Aux In for the iPod. No navigation control from the wheel, but I could really care. I don't see how that is worth it either.

Thanks very much. Appreciate it. So the Aux works just as well - I don't need the nav control from the wheel.

I travel to a lot of different customers, and live in Chicago, so there are many roads and addresses I am not familiar with. The NAV always gets me there without worry. I wouldn't order a car without one.
I have the Clearwater Blue, and love that color.

My local dealer has 60 or so X3's on the lot and I must say that the clearwater blue really stands out as a fine color. The white also looks very nice on the X3.

I have the stock system and it sounds fine for me right now. Better use of that money could be put towards and aftermarket system w/stock HU.
Definitely get the 6-speed; i have it and it rocks...really pulls in 5th. The only thing i would change is that i would totally get Flamenco Red; that's the color i wanted to get, but they didnt' have any decked out the way i wanted.

I assume you mean Bluewater. ;)
We have a Bluewater X3, and we've gotten complements from several people on the color.
