Sat Radio 03 745

Any ideas on where to put control unit on 03 745? Only place I thought off was on top of steering wheel. Does not look very nice. If the installer goes through the FM station is the sound quality good or below par? What is the best way to instal it since I cannot add to stock radio through BMW?

Can't help you on location, but if at all possible, avoid the FM modulator. They're not close to a direct connection for fidelity. If you must an FM modulator, make sure you get the Audivox SIRSWB http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?b=g&c=1&oid=93183&catoid=-10883&m=0&u=c&com.broadvision.session.new=Yes&qp=0&ct=0&BV_SessionID=@@@@1076802328.1092710964@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccckadcmfjiekdicfngcfkmdffhdfgo.0

since it prevents a lot of interference.

How do avoid the FM Modulator and get a direct connection w/an 03? Any ideas? I really want sat radio.
