I just purchased a 94 325is in Mauritus Blue with only 50 K miles.
Spent about 10 hours on her descurfing its previous neglected interior using woolite and leatherique products, under the hood using mostly simple green and Black Again, and the finish using clay and woolite water folowed by Zaino car wash. The interior came out fabulously 9.5 out of 10.

Exterior needs help 7 out of 10 at best.

Now that I can see it clearly. I have 3-4 hood dings and 4-5 roof dings as well as a couple of fingernail feelable scratches in the hood and some finer scrathes here and there. I am condidering buying a Porter Cable 7424 that many recommend.

I would greatly appreciate advice on how to proceed including tips on materials, polishing compounds ets. Also would like to get the acid rain etching off of the glass. I am williing to put in the hours but concerned about damaging the finish due to inexperience.

Any advice greatly appreciated,
