Help! Z4 power top won't go down

all of a sudden, pressing the retract button on the Z4 console responds with a solid orange light with no top movement. I have made sure the trunk expander is in the down positon and trunk is closed, but it still won't retract. Any ideas?

get it checked out, because the orange light means the trunk expander is in the up position
