I haven't seen this on the Fest yet. It came from the Audi World website.... Could it really be the next M3?

What's really interesting is the conversation on this picture over at Audi World. They've got more gums flapping on it than we do!

Edit: And the more I look at it, the more cartoonish it looks

Will BMW need that "M3 bulge" on the hood with the new E90 M3 V8?

I was wondering that myself. Of course, I suppose the intake manifold runners and attendant plumbing and hardware could nestle between the cylinder banks and require a little extra clearance.

Thats a good looking impression. I doubt it will be that aggressive, but it may be close. I'm definitely looking forward to it. If it's hot, I'm getting one :D

How did you come to that conclusion? I admit that I haven't been paying very close attention to flurry of model designations, but isn't the coupe supposed to be a "4", or M4? And isn't the M version of the new body style at least 2 years away?

supposedly they dropped that concept of the 2 and 4 versions. But thats one mean ass looking car, definatly a good design. But i love all bangle designs.

I'm basing my conclusion on that image relative to what we have all seen so far of the E90, particularly the brochure that leaked recently. All of the lines and details are the same on both cars, although the drawing above is exaggerated a bit for a more aggressive look. For example, I doubt the fender flares will be that pronounced. But it looks GOOD! :yikes:
