First Mistake

OK, so it's been a whole week since I bought my 2001 Z3 and already I've made a big mistake. The sound quality of the Business CD was only fair, so I had Circuit City install an Alpine 9831. Great sound, absolute garbage look. My subdued dash now looks like the Vegas strip. If I decide to reinstall the Business CD, my question is 2 fold:
1) is the mount accessible without taking the car 1/2 apart
2) how do I get the small covers on the side of the Business CD open to access the pressure bolts

Thanks for all the help. I re-installed the Business CD player and dropped in a XM Terk Commander which is very unobtrusive.
Whew..,.another catastrophe averted...
