For those of you that do mostly city driving with your 545iA,
what seems to be your average miles per gallon?

If it's more than 15 you should be happy.

I get about 11.5 MPG with conservative driving and only city driving. I only drive about a 100 miles a week and a tank will last barely 2 weeks.

GreatDisappoint, for reference, what city mpg are you seeing?
IIRC, you own(ed) a 545iA with the jolt/jerk tranny. So many variables like driving style, using the AC, driving in D vs DS vs M shifting in the 545iA. There is quite a variation in the responses for city-only MPG, makes me wonder what variables are driving this, e.g.: 11.5 MPG driving conservative vs 17.9 - 18.1 flooring it often.
Can't comment on city-only mpg b/c my driving is combo, ~ 22.9 MPG FWIW. Mostly D, some DS, occasionally use M. I always run the AC, rarely rabbit start, never floor it in the city. Freeway is more aggressive, but not brazen.

Wow...my 540i is getting 19+ around town with stop and go freeway commute and
I like to hot rod a bit. :D
Out on the open road, I've seen 24 MPG. The OBC once showed 28 MPG on a
long trip...but it went back down once I got into traffic.
