I will never again set foot in a brick and mortar store for tires after researching and buying my 2nd set of Tirerack tires.

I decided on the Bridgestone Dueler Revo A/T's for my F250 Heavy Duty 4X4. Tirerack had them at $152 a piece (plus a $50 rebate). I began calling tire dealers around this part and talked to 4 of them. The CHEAPEST I could get 4 tires of the identical brand, mounted, was $850! Firestone dealer wanted $1000. By the time I pay shipping, and mounting/balance charge ($10 per tire) I will have spent $725 total (NOT including the $50 mail in rebate) thanks to the Tirerack.

Pic to follow when I get them mounted!

Now, where do I get my tirerack bumper sticker from, Gary? :)

I have the older version of those tires on my Grand and they are great, I am extremely happy with them.

*I* don't even get a bumper sticker!

 thanks for the praise! That promotion certainly helped tip a few over the fence making these a good value. The promo is still good for purchases made before Sept 25th.

I may be going down the same road with the same tires on my Toyota. The only tempation I have with going to the brick/mortar shop however is the free rotation and tire hazzard. :dunno: I haven't asked for a quote yet.

However, I have NEVER had a flat in 15 years of driving and I can use the lift/impac drive at the auto hobby shop on base to do my own rotations...how lazy am I :eeps:

For my BMW I am a TireRack Apostle as well. Gary and the other sales people offer great service, the selection of tires is top-notch, and the prices can't be beat (so far :eeps: :D )

They're the best

I have Les Schwab tires on the Explorer, however I found that after about 10,000 miles I stopped using their free tire rotation service and just did it myself, its good excercise anyway! :p

For the BMW, no need for tire rotation, can't do it!

For my truck, it gets less than 3,000 miles a year, I think I can handle the tire rotation every other year.

Tirerack rocks! I personally got about 10 members informed about them at another RV website. I WANT MY BUMPER STICKER! :D
