Car is an E30, 325is, used mainly for a short 10 mile, smooth freeway commute. I also plan on 4 or 5 track days per year to start. I like the looks of the Borbets, but they weigh a ton, and I didn't buy this car strictly for looks. I'm looking for a functional wheel that will serve both purposes. Two questions about the Kosei's. First, are they too lightweight for a daily driver? I mean as far as getting out of round. Second, is there a center cap available? I'm not too concerned with looks, just curious. Did I mention that price was a factor? :)

Many E30 guys have run Kosei K1s on the street, mostly 15". Tirerack has center caps for them (or used to, at least), and they are indeed light on the looks. :p Very minimal.

Like the others have said, K1 is more than fine for street usage. I've had them on a supercharged Miata for years now...Great wheels!
