I have just bought a 2005 545 with sports package. I recently moved to Harrisburg, PA and I am not sure what winters are like here. I need some help with picking appropriate winter tires--I am planning on going with a 17" tire and wheel package.

Based on what I read, I was debating between Blizzak's WS-50, LM-22, or Dunlop Winter Sport M3. I was leaning towards the runflat Dunlop tires, especially since the car comes with runflats. But, there are some hills around here and I am not sure if I should go with the WS-50s. I assume the Dunlops will do okay with snow covered hills.

Any help will be appreciated.

Many will be trying to make this decision between the Maximum snow traction of a Q rated snow versus the trade off of sacrificing some snow traction for the better dry handling of an H or V rated winter tire. This is a personal preference decision with no real 'right' answer IMO. That being said you've chosen some of the best tires in their catagory and you are likely to be happy with either choice.

Perhaps some others will chime in with opinions to help sway you one way or the other
