2001 330ci Conv. different tire sizes

Hi Gary!

The wife loves her new PZero's on her Conv and me on my MINI!! Thanks for the help!!!

Her best friend just bought an '01 330ci Convert w/sport pkg..and I immediatly noticed she had different sized tires on the front than the back. Fronts were taller and narrower.

is this normal? She'll be ready for treads in about 4-5 months or so.. And just wondering why Rae's 325 ci Conv w/sport package didn't have different tires.

Yes, most (if not all)330Ci sport package cars run a staggered 225/45R17 up front and 245/40R17 rear.

not worried :) Just wondering why Rae's 325ci with Sport Package didn't have staggered tire sizes :) Thought there might be something unique about the 330..

That is it.. it is just so the 330i will be unique.. The fronts are the same size that come on the 325, but on 7.5" wheels.. The rears are 240/40-17 on 8.5" wheels.. It is just to visually set the 330 apart from the 325...

I run 330i wheels on my 325i... It is just a matter of cosmetics.
