I am selling four E46 M3 10-spoke replica wheels (made in Italy) in an 18x8/et47 offset mounted up with like-new Continental ContiContactSport2s.
The tires are a 235/40-18 size and have 4,400 miles on them. They have even and normal wear with no damage/blemishes/scuffs/etc. They are in excellent condition. I just had the Contis mounted on the wheels last month (they came off my wife's new S4 which I just replaced with all-season Pirelli PZero Neros for year-round use). They are no longer on the car, as I have replaced them with another set of wheels (which is why they are for sale).
The wheels are straight and true, balanced and smooth-running. True mileage is unknown, but I would estimate they have less than 8-10k miles. They are in very good condition. The "HyperSilver" finish is in good shape, with only normal wear and minor tear to the finish. No curb rash. On a 1-10 scale, I'd give them a 10 for functionality and an 8.5 for appearance (and I am very finicky about wheels and tires). They look very nice on the car.
The et47 offset of these wheels requires spacers on an E36 (OEM is et41), which I will supply. I have what appears to be a 5mm spacer in the front and a 3mm in the rear. I don't think the rears need spacers, but I don't like to take chances with it, so they're on there. The wheels do not include lugbolts. They include centers, but one is delaminating. It's not that noticable, but if you're picky like I am, you can find centers on Ebay for around $25 a set.
The Contis run true and smooth with no clearance issues. They ride better than the SO3s I took off at slight cost of handling prowess in the curves at high speeds. There's little to no ride degradation between the OEM 17" wheels and the 18s. I noticed slight interference at full RH lock with the LH tire during parking maneuvers; nothing at LH lock with either tire. I think a slightly bigger spacer would eliminate this, but it doesn't occur except at full-lock, so it wouldn't be a killer to live with.
Any questions or offers, please send me email to "e6453@hotmail.com" since I'm not online a lot. I'm looking for $750/BO. I'll ship, if needed, using corporate FedEx rates at buyers expense. Alternatively, I'll drive to meet you halfway if you live within 4-5 hours of northcentral WV (Columbus OH/Cleveland OH/Pgh PA/Wash DC/NoVA/MD/etc). Thanks!
Mike
