over the weekend. Gotta say, it was pretty nice. Didn't get a chance to drive though.

Looks pretty nice... I still don't know if I like the front treatment. I do like that silver/black/red combo - wish I could have had that in the 330.
I didn't like the original SLK very much, and I saw one of these last week, and wasn't that impressed with this one, either. I think it should have been more like a mini-SL than a SLR.
At least they're evidently offering it with a MT.

I'm waiting for the SLK 55 AMG :yumyum:
My local dealership still can't have even a 200K for a test drive

At least they're evidently offering it with a MT.
6 speed MT is standard (short throw shifter), 7 speed auto optional (fingertip steering wheel controls available). Cool (or warm) feature available is a "scarf" of heat that blows from under the headrest to keep your neck warm while the top is down in cool weather. Top and windows are able to be operated by remote key. Cross drilled 13" rotors, 4 piston calipers, standard. 268hp, torque 258lb-ft@2400-5000rpm, 0-60 5.4. 3231 lbs.

I like the exterior... it is different looking and at that price it should be. The interior is very nice also.
