I am parting out my 1998 cosmos black 5 speed M3 coupe. The car was involved in an accident and the driver's side door was damaged. The engine bay and all components therein are in perfect condition and were not affected by the accident. You can rest assured that all parts I list in this post are in perfect working order.
Engine - complete longblock - $3500
70k miles (mostly highway, never tracked); 201-205 psi compression in all six cylinders; oil changed religiously every 3k miles with Mobil 1 synthetic; never driven hard before oil comes up to temp; includes all extra components necessary for an easy swap
Transmission - 5 speed manual - $1500
70k miles (mostly highway, never tracked); no grinding; smooth shifts; only redline fluid used
3.23 OEM Rear Differential - $400
70k miles (mostly highway, never tracked); never launched hard; fluid changed at specified maintenance intervals
OEM Driveshaft - $100
70k miles (mostly highway, never tracked); never launched hard
Complete Engine/Tranny/Driveline - $5000 (shipping included)
This includes all four parts listed above
Passenger side Vader seat - grey, heated, pwr adjust - $250
This seat is in good condition; I will post pics shortly
Rear seats - grey - $200
Side mirrors (2) - cosmos black - $400
Hood - $100
Passenger side door - cosmos black, grey, airbag - $400
Exhaust and cat - $250
Muffler - $250
Complete Cat/Exhaust/Muffler - $400
Front bumper - cosmos black, near mint - $200
Factory 6-disc CD changer - $100
Three spoke M3 steering wheel with airbag - $250
I would prefer local (MD, DC, VA, NJ, NY, PA, WV, DE) buyers for the bigger items, especially the engine and transmission.
I will be listing more parts as I take them off the car, so please check back often.

I'll take the steering wheel if it's in good condition. Could you post or send me a pic?
Thanks
Is the driver's side side skirt still in good shape? Is it for sale?
Email me if it is. I'm local.

I will be posting pics later this week. You will have first non-local dibs on the steering wheel, as all local buyers will take precedence.

Really?
Josh, if you're not interested in just two, I'd be interested in the rear one. Maybe both depending on the price.
Again, email me at TDM3@comcast.net with what you'd want for them. Please also describe their condition honestly and/or include big pics.

Go for it TD, I don't have lightweights currently so I'd need to dig up at least 2 more anyway. I'm thinking snow tires and rims at this point and I wouldn't put the lightweights in that situation.

Unfortunately, it turns out that the rear seat was damaged in the accident: the left side was crushed. Unless someone specifically does not mind a damaged rear seat (haha), then I'm afraid I will not be selling it. I apologize for the confusion.
There is a chance that the passenger side seat was slightly damaged, but it may be fine. The only thing I'm worried about is a deformed mounting bracket.
Please keep in mind that I have not yet removed these pieces from my car. I will be parting it out this weekend, provided no one purchases the entire car as a whole. I apologize for not making this more clear in advance, but anyone interested in purchasing the whole wreck will have priority. I would much rather sell it whole than take the time to part it out.
I have taken pics and will have them posted by tomorrow.

I need the nose panel & kidney grilles. I hear you can just wrap it in bubble wrap & ship like that. How much shipped to NYC ZIP 10027?
Thanks!

--I have a '99 328I sedan n am wondering if you or anyone else knows how difficult a complete motor-tranny swap would be if at all considering engine & transmission mounts, electronics ect. if anyone could enlighten me this would be super...i am knowledgeable but the new ones are so overwhelmingly electronic its difficult to get things just right...i completely rebuilt the top end & replaced the clutch of an '87 325e in my 2 car garage with my father...the 328I is great but i'm a power/acceleration junkie :D ...thanks greatly
