Hi everyone,
I have been thinking about getting some new wheels for my 04 325I. I was looking at the new wheels on www.bmwwheels.com and noticed that the tire size given for the Star Spoke 45 wheel which came standard on my car is given as 225/50 R16W. I have been thinking about getting either the Round Spoke 18 or the Double Spoke 88 but the tire size for these wheels is given as 225/50 ZR16. Does that mean I have to get new tires too if I decide to get new wheels or will I be able to put my current tires onto the new wheels without any trouble? I also checked my current tires and the tire size written on them is given as 205/55R 16. This does not exactly match the tire size specified for the Star Spoke 45 wheel on that website. I am a bit confused! Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.
