I have a '04 325i with 5 spd.(5500 miles). the great majority of time my shifts are fine but occassionally on the 2-3 or 3-4 shift after I let up the clutch and press the accelerator there is a like a "jolt" from the rear(transmission).am I doing something wrong on my shift? the gears are not grinding, lugging, etc.

:dunno: Sounds like a timing thing.....are you letting-up on the clutch to quick or get on the gas too quick???? The E46 clutch is a pain to master...
That's all I have.

The other stick 328 dinan that we have in our fam.. What I have learn't is that you have to keep this delicate balance between the release of the clutch; and pressing the gas. It takes a while but afterwards, driving a stick is much more fun then the automatic.
