alum trim question once again

I wonder if you can order this easier now. SP/PP and get alum trim instead of wood?????? maybe Jon knows? .thanks for any info

The last time I checked (around 2 months ago), no go. It wasn't doable when I ordered my car either. I'm not sure whether this can be done in Europe, but I haven't heard people doing this either over there, so this may be one of those that no one is able to change...:dunno:

What do you need from the Premium package? If you REALLY hate the wood trim, maybe you can order the other pieces of the PP seperately?

no dice - order on 5/2 and BMWNA wouldn't do alum with the PP - dealer gave me a decent quote on all the parts and installation at prep though.

BMWNA did say yes to the sunshade!

I like the wipers, sunroof, auto dim mirror etc, but want alum trim, is that to much to ask? I think not.. IMO

The dealer offered to rip the aluminum trim out of another car on the lot and put it in mine if it would mean a sale...

I guess that's the difference btwn BMWUSA and BMWCanada.
