Hi all,
I'm heading out to Spring Mountain Raceway outside Las Vegas this weekend. Have never been there and am wondering if anyone has track notes/in car videos of this track. I've searched the net, but not had any luck. Thanks for any tips/info you can provide. :)

Hey! Long time no see man....
Try this one... not sure if it's the same track but it says Pahrump so I'm guessing it's the same one... :)

Hey, how goes it. Thanks for the link...cool video. Haven't been to the track much lately. Did Streets of Willow with PCA back in April and this weekend's event is pretty much all I've done this year. How about you?

Laguna Seca in Nov '03
Buttonwillow in Apr '04
Buttonwillow again in Jun '04
Thunderhill in Aug '04
Buttonwillow again in Sep '04
... and.... going to Sears Point in November. :eeps:

I know that you are in, I was talking about the rest of the SCTS delinquents. :p
I am excited for Dr. Dave. This track is way more interesting/challening/plain awesome than Laguna Seca. I can't wait. :drive:
Now that we are all in B, we can all practice drafting on our way up to Sears Point, right. :eeps:

What group are you running with?
And when are we gonna see you next at the BMWCCA events?

We're not all in B yet... I dunno what group I'm gonna end up in since it's my first at Sears Pt... It wouldn't let me pick... :dunno:
Um... I'd feel better caravaning with you guys if I had the special countermeasures that only you seem to have right now... :p
So when are you planning on heading up?

We heard about that at Thunderhill. It's a smaller group of track junkies. Not a big thing like the CCA events but I think many of the people also go to CCA events.

A group called Racer Factory is running the event. I've never run with them before, but some friends have. $275 for 2 days/5 sessions per day, including lunch and T shirt...hard to beat that deal! And we stayed at the Pahrump Nugget, new hotel for $47/night. Oh and they had $1 craps. I took them for $195 on Friday night!!!
Not sure on my next event...I've been doing a lot of mountain biking lately...the tires and brake pads wear out just as fast, but are a lot cheaper ;)
