Is my new X3 3.0 supposed to have a toolkit? What about a first aid kit?

Thanks,

scottcan :)

Toolkit = yes
First aid kit = don't think so.

IIRC, the toolkit is located on the left side of the cargo area (as you looking the cargo area). Just to the left of the left most metal track you can remove the floor piece to reveal the tool kit.

I found it! However, it is pretty puny. I also own an '87 325IS and it has a much more sunstantial toolkit.

What is supposed to be in the tool kit on the left side (when you pull up that little flap). Because there is an empty molded space there, where it looks like one tool should go.

There is a screw driver though, and something else. But also the space that appears like it should hold some sort of tool, but it is empty. (This is a brand new X3 3.0 -- 2005 year).

Well I'm missing one, I'll mention it to the dealer when I'm there tomorrow.

According to my manual, the first aid kit is country specific. I don't have one.

I think for the U.S. it is not standard.

It's not in the Canadian vehicles..........being such good drivers we don't need one :thumbup:

My US Spec 2005 X3 3.0 has a first aid kit under the passenger seat.
Door to open the compartment it is in faces forward.
I did pick it up with European delivery.
If you do not have one there should be a compartment there for storage.

For US vehicles, you'll get a first aid kit only if you did an ED. If you want to have it in the US, then you need to pack it in your baggage, and not send it with the car.
