I am in Oxford - I joined this forum about 3 months ago, but only got a couple of off-topic replies to my question, so I left. I'm back to have another go... Anyone got any suggestions about the cause of a stutter during acceleration from cold. I have a late '98 E46 318i SE with 75K. Fuel filter or worse??

In the case of a cold start.....have you had it serviced recently? IMO colds starts are prone to bad fuel line or its mixture. Try the forum i'm with...ive put a link up on an earlier thread

Sorry you have not had much luck on the forum. I have been looking since i got my car and have always found the peeps very helpful.

Have seen some harsh messages though....little tip, if you drive your car knowing it is overheating, DONT tell them here cos they will rip you a new ar*ehole!!! one bloke found out the hard way hehehe

Is generally a great forum though, and has saved me a lot of money already. Give it another try i say :)
