WOO HOO.

Count me in.

Today my wife has my 325xit, and I'm cruising around Scottsdale in my mother-in-law's e60 530 with 6-spd and sport package. I could really learn to like this car

Hey Andy, we're here dude!

I was actually at the JW in Desert Ridge all last week with some co-workers at a sr. mgt retreat, and I took a few of them over to that cool micro at DCRanch for lunch/drinks one afternoon.

I really like DCR and wish we could've afforded it; oh well. Let's try to get together soon for a beer, either at MMR or out here in the boonies!

I checked it out.
Seemed like a lot of dudes with total disregard for punctuation or grammar.

However, I'm planning on posting on the classifieds to see if there are any takers for the set of Mille Miglia (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81621&highlight=mille) wheels I offered to sell for my friend.

If i get my engine all running & tuned, I may run my car (don't want the engine blowing 2 weeks before bimmerfest)...if not, I'll at least be out there hanging out.

also here in AZ..

both Tucson and PHX.. mostly Tucson..

for the guy who asked, Regional forums are for organizing get togethers and stuff..

sure the guys at azbmw.org have no grammer or spelling.. but it's just a forum.. it's not like a midterm paper or company project report.. it's like asking people to be perfectly grammatical on AIM (which i dislike using btw)

anyway.. planning a Tucson azbmw.org workday soon.. probably this week or next weekend.. most likely next.. people are gonna be changing fluids and whatnot.. i'll be doing suspension..

Nice! I think that's exactly what these local/regional forums are for.

I'd be interested in doing something like that here in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Specifically, I'm looking for anyone who has installed the Phatnoise music system in their car. I just got the system with a 20GB drive which will hold about 5,000 MP3's in the trunk. Currently ripping all of my CD's but haven't exactly planned how I will do the install and I'm looking for someone who has done it before.

for anyone interested: there is going to be a Euro Meet this Thursday (March 3rd) Evening, around 7pm, next to the In-N-Out on Ray & I-10.
What is it? It's a pretty laid back get-together put on by azaudi.org, azbmw.org, vwvortex.com, and dynamicminicollective.com. Typically, there's over 60 cars @ every meet.

Also, this weekend, NASA is running @ PIR.....If I have spare time, I'll probably head out to watch & hang around.

jetstream, is that Phatmusic system an e46-specific kit? or universal? Todd, from my330i.com (who also frequently goes to the Euro Meets) might be able to help you out since he's pretty knowledgeable about the e46 & has done some stereo-modification to his cars before.

Hey, I just moved in a little closer.
Moved out of McDowell Mtn Ranch.
Now I'm @ Cactus and the 101.

We still need to get together for that beer.
Interested in watching a little Carolina Basketball during the tournament?

hey, welcome to the site.
lol, you are indeed one of the few e30 owners in AZ...altho, recently, there have been quite a few 'new' e30 owners/enthusiasts poping up on azbmw.org

I think there's going to be a little bmw or euro get-together this thursday evening @ the In-N-Out on Ray & I-10...not sure if i'll be able to make it (I need to start crunching on my motor before B-fest)

i think you're right that there aren't many e30 owners in AZ... i believe i've seen about 3 this year (so far) in the tempe/scottsdale/mesa/chandler areas. i've seen the old ones, probably older than mine; and they're in far worse condition. i'm really happy i have my 325, it's a little gem. i'm just really glad the previous owner took good care of my car. originally, i was looking for a 2002 but there's not a lot to pick from, and most are in real beat up condition.
what and when is the b-fest?

Bimmerfest 2005: Santa Barbara, CA on April 23rd: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=69

Currently, there's around 20 cars (4 e30's! :D ) from AZ (mainly the Phoenix-area & a few from Tucson) signed up to caravan to Santa Barbara on the Thursday & Friday before B-Fest. If your interested in going with us, there's another thread on azbmw.org about hotel accomidations. We did have a group rate going @ the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn, but I believe the last 10 double-bed rooms have been reserved...there might be some people who are still looking for 'room-mates' to keep room costs down.

'Pre-Bimmerfest Meet' in AZ on Tuesday April 19th
7pm @ the In-N-Out on Ray Road & the I-10.

We'll be finalizing caravan info for the trips to & from Santa Barbara (the route, suggested stops, safety, driving 'manners', preparing the car for the long drive, etc...), as well as where everyone is sleeping.

So far, it seems the majority of the people coming from AZ are leaving on the Thursday before Bimmerfest, and the rest are going up on Friday. And we'll all be driving back to the desert on Sunday.
