Alex,
I wanted to ask you specially coz you live in germany were they use 220-240V rating as we do in the middle east. I tried to buy the porter-cable online but all of them are rated at 120V. How can you use it in germany? is there another webiste that will sell them at diffrent rating? or do you use some kind of adapter?
Your help is greatly appreciated, that goes for all the forum members.

Most PCs have dual power capable power supplies (220v/110v). There's a recessed switched at the rear where this is set.

A Porter-Cable wouldn't have this so you'd need to use a step-down transformer. Be sure it's rated for enough amps/wattage to drive the PC.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm on a business trip at the moment.

The Porter Cable won't work with 220V, transformer solutions might be a bit expensive too.

There are other random orbital polishers by Dewalt, Makita or Festool.

I'll post the model numbers when I'm home (next week).
