Come on, you need to find something tougher than that.

The holes in the fender are a dead giveaway.

The hoop could be aftermarket or a safety requirement in AU.

I just searched around and apparently the car comes with a '4-way' roof.

Jag XJ220. I don't know what's a worse Jag. That thing or the XType.

I used to think the XJ220 was cool.

what was wrong w/ it other than being a few cylinders short of a proper jag? :dunno:

The XJ220 was anaesome car. Aside from the last minute engine change which was really more of an image thing anyway.

As it sits its a very potent car and pretty rare to boot.

Remeber the challenge series they had using those cars on SpeedVision?

Trabant?

Trabant?

That's what I was thinking at first, but I don't think that's right. The grille is too small and the signal lenses are more inboard than a Trabbi.

Wait! You're from the Netherlands, so my guess is it's a DAF Daffodil.

You are correct it is a Daf 33 indeed

For those who don't know Daf, they were equiped with a unique automatic transmission. It is called variomatic. You can read more about variomatic here (http://www.classic-daf.nl/indexb.html)

DAF invented the CVT, which is currently used in an updated form on FWD Audi A4/A6, some Civics, and all 'automatic' MINIs.
