I had always wanted an RC plane so after years of begging when I was a kid my folks got me a cheap one. Thank god it was cheap. I didn't realize that all the controls had to go in reverse when it was coming back at me and crashed the hell out of that thing. I really wish I was smart enough to actually fly something as cool as that!

Yeah, real turbines, burning jet fuel (kerosene) electronic fuel controls. Various sizes. The engines alone start at several thousand. Most figure some $8 - $10K in the whole airplane.
