Not again. :tsk:
Don't you get it? Your strategy is not working. You've been advertising this car the same way for the past several years. It's not selling. Either you're asking too much or the people in this forum is not interested in prestine garage queens.
Try something else man!

Dang you remember this ad from 7 years ago? What is special about this car? Im not knocking this add or sale but alot of people claim restorations on cars that were never really made to be anything. just my .02 but good luck with the sale

So how much do you want for it?

So how much do you want for it?

I had asked him the asking price one of the last times he listed it, and I remember laughing for quite a while after that. Unfortunately, I think I deleted that PM, so I can't recall the exact number. However, rest assured that it was way, way too high for a car that has virtually no market for meticulously restored garage queens.

Uh Oh! You know it's funny how this "Long-time" ad is usually followed by a post from the guy who knows a "guarded dealership" that offers hard to find new bimmers...

I know a guarded dealership offering early delivery spots for the new M5, M6, M7, M8 and M9. Contact me for contact info to get on their list!!

 Sorry, couldn't resist!!

Yes, this is just a joke.

So the engine's 735 specs. Why not 745 (either EU or SA spec)? Considering everything else, it would be far more appealing with the M30 turbo or M88/S38 in it.

So how much do you want for it?He's also been advertising it in the Roundel for quite awhile. IIRC, there's a price in the ad.

He's hoping to match the car up with the right "special" buyer.

That special buyer might find him a lot faster if he put a price in that ad.

Dude, he has very rare cars, and he isn't interested in a quick sale. He's hoping to match the car up with the right "special" buyer. It might take a while to find this person, and they certainly won't need the price printed in the ad to realize they are interested in the car.

There's no forum rule that says he needs to sell his car like you would. :dunno:
Dude, you've totally missed the point. Of course nobody has to do anything like I would.
And I don't need a forum rule to call BS when I see it. What's your problem?
Sure, I was annoyed by his stubborned (or laziness) to post over and over the same add, verbatim, year after year.
So, I offered him a suggestion, to improve his chances of a sale (and hopefully stop the annoyance).
Do you know his price? See Sarafil's post above.

Personally, I don't like ad's without prices either.
So why not say it out loud? :dunno:
Why pick on others when they have the courage to do so?

:bs: You flamed him with lots of :tsk: and  . "not again", "don't you get it", and "your strategy is not working", "try something else", is (way) out of line.

Out of line by whose definition? I don't agree it was a flame. As you said, there are no forum rules on that. :p

Yup, amounts to little more than a c-o-c-k tease.

IMO, your post was out of line. I voiced my opinion. You don't need to agree. End of story.
That's strictly your opinion.
In my opinion, his post was annoying and not posting a price is out of line. I voiced my opinion, with  and all because I was really annoyed. Flame it was not. You don't have to agree. End of story.
