Greetings all, noob here at this forum and have been lurking for awhile. Excellent info on X3's and since I'm in the market for one was wondering if I can get some input on a quote I recently received from a local dealer. I have test ridden for a short period the 3.0i and I was pretty impressed. My local dealer's willing to allow a 2 hour test drive whenever I'm ready which I think is pretty cool. Anyway, here's the 1st quote I've got with the options (although on a 2.5i) I'm interested in. I probably would prefer the 3.0i but if this is a good deal, it might just work fine for me.

Let me know what you all think? TIA!

Metallic Paint $475
Leather Interior $1450

I just picked mine up today: Mystic blue 3.0, premuim package, zenons, privacy glass, heated seats & wheel, sat prep for $1000 over invoice (and yes, I checked their invoice price vs Edmunds and kbb). No problems at all, they accepted right away.

Do you realize just how close the price of a well equipped 2.5 and a similarly equipped 3.0 is? The only way that a 2.5 "makes sense" is if you go for a pretty cheap car (no moonroof, no premium, etc.)-- once you start adding options, the 3.0 becomes a better and better buy because it has more standard features included that you'll pay extra for on the 2.5 model.

For comparison sake, why don't you try pricing out a 3.0 with the same options and see how close it is. You might be surprised.

With all that why are you looking at a 2.5?

You really need to go back and negotiate a 3.0....Not only will you be surprised, but MUCH happier with your vehicle. :D :D

Everyone is correct, with all those options. You might as well get a 3.0.

Thank you all for the feedback. I will be shopping for the 3.0i instead and see what kind of deal's are out there at this time. Anyone paid invoice or below for the 3.0i?
