Which forum regulars are planning on coming to the event this year?

There is a whole lotta sheet going on behind the scenes to bring you the best Bimmerfest ever. Just wanted you guys to know that!

I'll be there. Pacific Sharkfest will be in SLO exactly a month later (albeit over 4 days) so it'll be a BMW-filled spring in this part of CA.

I did notice that vendors/sponsors have been notified, so there's definitely 'sheeit' happening behind the scenes.

I still can't decide which to bring. Or maybe I'll bring one of my friend's cars. :dunno:

While the 6er is very nice and a classic, you'd have more to show off (your audio mods) with the 3er.

Hmm...would it be forward of me to ask if Santa Barbara BMW just might have an E90 or two on hand for the enjoyment of Bimmerfest members? :bigpimp:

I (Lord willing) will just get up early and do the 71 to the 210 to the 134 to the 101 (er, the 101 is open, now?) thang!

I sincerely hope that there will be Bimmerfest 2005 shirts; even as I type this posting, I'm wearing one of the two Bimmerfest 2003 (work did not allow me to attend Bimmerfest 2004 :bawling: ) long-sleeve shirts initially modeled by one of the lovely Shafer daughters

For me it's more like 101 to the 1 to the 280 to the 85 then back to the 101 to SB. 5-1/2 hours, two pit stops, no tickets. Maybe a couple extra Zoloft around Santa Maria to help deal with the casual, laid-back Santa Barbara attitude. :D

:hi: (maybe) How long does this thing last anyway? One day or overnight? Are there any parties? Do I need tix? Still considering it... There actual event is all day on Saturday including the road rally (if the rains haven't washed away all the roads). But there are other things going on the whole weekend.

Folks that get in to town on Friday will be working on their cars (mostly washing and detailing), looking at everyone elses cars, talking 'bout cars, swapping stories 'bout cars, etc., etc. There'll also be group dinners and bar hopping for those that want to.

Then, after wrapping up Saturday, there'll be more dinners and bar hopping.

EDIT: Forgot to add.... You do need to sign up, but there is no fee to attend.

Yes, I got the evite. Pretty sure I already responded in the affirmative. I'm ready for the caravan. Can't wait to see the looks of amazement on the faces of the staff at the In-N-Out. Last year there were some classic looks of puzzlement.
