getting ready to do a brake job on my e36 328i any thing i should know before i do it... any special tools.. ? changing brake fluid rotors and pads.. seems like my calipers are operating well.. i may rebuild not sure yet.. what kind of brake fluid is everyone using?? any suggestions on pads.. i was thinking raybestos. i drive fast so i'd like to get a good pad..

I just replaced my rotors, pads, brake hoses, and fluid. I used Turner's kit:

It includes blue fluid which makes bleeding easier. The stainless brake hoses are really nice.


The toughest part is adjusting the emergency brake. I found a tip online for that:

That's good, I thought I recognized the name!
Are you happy with it so far? I really liked my e36, I'll be looking for one in the future for sure.

Yeah, I bought my first BMW the day I turned 18, a silver 1998 328is 5 speed. I loved that car, but when I saw the M5 for sale it had to go!
As for the trade....uuuuhhhh..... I'll pass for now :)
