Yay or nay, basically. It would be safe for my BMW wheels right?? It says they are safe for clearcoated finsihes. I'm just afraid of discoloration. I like it because I can clean my tire walls with it too, rather than using a brush, and it works well in the fender wells too. Canadian winters are dirty!!

Check the ingredients on the bottle, if it has oxalic acid or any kind of acid, it can discolor or damage the clearcoat, esp if you have curb rash or scratches.

I think most spray on, spray off cleaners are acid-based, but I could be wrong.

EO A2Z (orange bottle) is not acid based.

Canadian winters are dirty!!It works for you? :dunno: When I tried it, it barely removed more dirt than plain water. I have for years used Armor All Wheel Cleaner and never had a problem with it affecting my wheel finishes. I just make sure I do not leave it on for more than a minute. It does a very good job of removing the break dust.

So since it's not acid based, it will not affect curb rashes, right?
