Well.... my battery went POOF and now my radio will not work without a code.
Hmmm now where did I put that code??....
How does one find out the code if the code is lost???
Feeling a bit like Homer Simpson at the moment.

The code card should be in the driver's manual. It looks like a credit card. :dunno:

Go to the dealer, or call them. There is a sequence of buttons to push to get the radio SN#. From that they can look the code up in their computer.

I did the same thing a few years back. Took it to the dealer, they popped the radio out to get the serial #. Check the computer and voila - got the code. Free!

There is no universal code for the car. It is unique to the radio so either pull the radio and take it to the dealer or go to the dealer and have then provide the code. No other options...

As previously stated, the code might be in your owner's manual. Possibly handwritten on the inside page. I did mine recently after a battery meltdown, from memory there is a six digit code that you input. If you input 3 times wrongly, then it locks you out. You have to wait around 2 hours with the ignition set to position 1, then you input the correct code (hopefully). Full instructions should be in your owner's manual, yes I know there are a lot of "shoulds" here. Hope this helps

I do not have an owner's manual and can not figure out how to enter the code.
Can anyone provide instructions?
Thanks.

Simply turn on the radio, it will say CODE, enter the code and the radio starts up. Fantastiche!! :) :bigpimp:

I tried to enter the radio code using in the radio preset buttons (1-6, 6 for 6, 3 for 3, etc.) as a key punch. This failed. Was this the correct procedure?

Yes, this usually works. Did the radio say CODE on the display? Is the code in your owner's manual correct? Good luck..:bigpimp:

Hi there
I had this problem but Please note this only works on if it is an LCD radio, take the Radio out place in a plastic bag and and put it in youir freezer for 10 to 15 mins!!! and when you take the radio out, the code will be showing in the top left hand corner of the LCD Screen!.....I know what you are thinking!,.....hey this guy is CRAZY...But thats what I thought when I was told of this.
Good Luck:D
