where is the air filter located for the climate control on a 97 328i..? ok i know.. i am an idiot..

it's located behing the glove compartment. You have to take it a part and you will see it in the back. It should take you about an 1hr the first time. maybe less. Good luck!

It is behind the center console, very close to the firewall but as explained by cbouchez, you will need to work behind the glove compartment. yeah it's good to replace them every year. i had the same issue a while back, it was a bitch. you just about have to take apart the whole console. couldn't tell you :dunno:
