Final Stage Resistor

My a/c blower intermittenty quits on me. Where is this Final Stage Resistor located. I think I will need to replace.

There are several posts out there - I have a 1996 BMW 318i. First thing you do is remove the glove box - This is about 6 screws, then remove the additional trim carefully. Then look - you'll need to remove 2 more 20 torx bit screws - You'll see them - pull the unit out and Voila - Replacement is in reverse.
