Interested. I have V551 which I think will fit. Pls PM me with more detail of the item & possibly pic (especially the Pro-Fit mount -- what p/n?). HandFree kit = with spaker/mic? Pic & p/n will be best. I can decide quickly.
Tks

Tks for the pic. Sorry, this set up is not my preference, I personally don't like the external speaker type .. but I'm sure it must sound better than those without.
Good luck selling.

It's not used on 99-01 cars.
I had a similar kit for my old v60 and it worked great.

It'll work with other Motorolas of the same vintage (V270/280, I believe T7xx) with a different cradle, if it's the same kit I had.

Just curious where do you mount the speaker in a 3 series ? Can you shed some light? And do you know should it work with V551? .... I may reconsider if all works out though...

I have no idea which platform the 551 is, but I'd imagine it needs the newer (V300/400/500/600 series) handsfree kit, not this one. Do some research.
And I don't have an 02+ car so I don't know how to tap into the car's speakers, which got changed to be integrated into the stereo starting MY02.

I mounted the speaker underneath the glove compartment. It wasn't visible, the audio was clear, and there was no interference with the microphone or telephone.
