As the topic suggests, does anyone know if these will fit on a e39 528i?

I am looking for a winter set to put winter tires on :dunno:
thanks!
E39s have a bigger centerbore hole. So without a lipless spacer or machining the wheel or hub, no.

this guy swears that they will fit because he had a set from a e39 on before these... I just want a winter set and these should go fairly cheap, I wish I could find out for sure somehow.
Both OEM 15s and these are 15x7, shouldn't they fit the same? (sorry if I am a wheel noob)

It fits the other way because the hole on the E39 wheels are bigger at 74mm vs every other 5-hole BMW at 72.5. Since the E39 came out, lots of aftermarket wheels are made with the bigger hole and use a hubcentic ring to fit everything else.

Gotcha... He says it measures 2 13/16 inches which turns out to be about 72mm, so I guess these will not work for me.
Thanks!
