Got insurance? Yikes, I think about young Master Wingspan banging gears in a few years
That car looks awfully familiar.
We're going to have some caravan to autox's this year. :D

My neighbors will send over the padded wagon, that's for sure.

He doesn't want to start until next year. At least that's what he's saying right now. Son #1 can't wait for the season to start, so there's at least 2 of us caravaning from my house.

Ummm, yeah. But at least the interior is....
Oh, never mind.

When every member of your household drives a red 91 318is with tan interior, you know your life will finally be complete.
I'd argue that this silly conundrum was created by BMW's decision to only sell red/tan 318s in 1991. At least that's what I've told Cathy.

I know, Jason's been pushing me. If I just didn't have to use mine as a daily driver. I can see taking my boss to the airport and having him buckle up a harness.
Plus, I'm assuming I lose easy access into the back seat.

I'm trying to teach him to drive responsibly. I might be contradicting those lessons by installing racing seats.
Actually, the real answer is to do what I've been wanting to do since I bought mine. I need to find a black pleather interior somewhere.

Dibs on your seats tan pleather seats!
Lemme guess. Worn tan leather in the 325is you're looking at....

So when is the suspension work party? :)

Yes, my Oldest Tax Deduction is casting a covetous eye upon Karl Bimmer (2003 325i)..."Mom, your car drives soooo smoothly, it shifts so nicely, it really moves" (he has a 1991 Nissan Sentra 240SX; if that car were any lower, it'd be a bed! [insert smilie of an old person painfully attempting to get out of a very low car here :p ])
So when is the suspension work party? :)
Don't worry, there is going to be a suspension party but it doesn't involve any e30's this time :)

Let's see, after transmission work on an LTW and then some suspension work to 2 M3s, then we'll took a look at the e30. But original is good enough right now. I might pop my old rear shocks and rear shock mounts on the e30 this weekend.

First Friday/Saturday in March, at least that's what's planned.

Bren, great, now the shop will get some E46 specific tools. :)
Alex, that's cool.
clyde - the weekend after next. I will probably put up on Fri and take a look, then get serious on Sat/Sun. What is that, March 4 - 5 or something like that.

Is son #3 the future Chef?
Looks like he'll be going to school in style.

And after all the trouble, son #2 is now having second thoughts about the Culinary Institute....
