Can't get winter wheels off.....

Does anyone have any ideas/tips on how to get my winter wheels off of my car. This the third season that I have used these wheels during the winter and I've never had any problems before, but I was just out trying to get them off and they won't budge. The lug bolts come off fine but the wheels won't budge. I kicked them a little bit but I don't want to kick too hard and mess anything up. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

In cases like this, violence is the only solution. And a very large hammer.

They will come off, you just have to smack them hard enough.

For what it's worth, I've had to kick wheels off pretty hard before. I've never caused any damage :).

Once you do get them off, make sure you grease your wheel hubs every season!

Beat the backside of the tire with a rubber mallet, it will take some muscle. And use a 2x4 between the tire and mallet, this does two things protects the tire/rim and distributes the impact.
