I'm looking into replacing my conti's since they're pretty much run down at 20K. I've read good things about the above tires, but has anyone had experience with the three tires above or at least 2 of them? I'm looking for good wet/dry along with a decent quiet ride (my conti's gotten pretty loud at 10K). Also which of the above tires will "wear well?" (unlike the ES100's which give a good impression initially but then get crappy quickly) I tried reading the tire rack's good reviews, but there is no review that compares the 3 tires directly. Plus I'd like to hear real world experiences. Thanks in advance!

Think of the Conti Contact 2 as the most comfort-oriented tire of the three, and perhaps a bit longer wear. Both the GSD3 and PS2 will have stronger dry handling, and sharper steering response, with the PS2 slightly edging out the GSD3 in both catagories while having a bit stiffer ride than the GSD3.

have you considered the Kumho Ecsta's? Gary steered me towards them and so far (800miles), I am pretty pleased.
I had to give up some handling, but these should last longer, were cheaper upfront and are better all-around tires (esp with the rain in Calif).
<Thanks Gary!>

I assume you're talking about the Ecsta's MX? Hmm.. they're quite a bit cheaper at Tire rack than the other three. Will have to look into them too. Thanks!
Also, thanks Gary for the quick response. :thumbup:

I like the MX on our M Roadster. They take a bit to warm, but are very predictable, and handle rain well, IMHO.

Conti-IIs tend to get really loud as they wear. They're quiet and comfortable at first though. I probably wouldn't buy them again.
T1-R's are out! :fruit:
