Has anyone put Pinnacle Souveran over Klasse? If so, did you put it on after doing AIO, AIO plus SG, or what?

I did a full Klasse AIO and two coats of Klasse SG about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've washed the car once and used Sonus for QD. What prep. should I do if I want to apply Pinnacle Souveran? Should I just wash the car and then use Pinnacle or should I wash and Sonus QD then apply Pinnacle Souveran? Would applying Souveran mean that I should use a different QD than Sonus afterwards?

And finally :) , does anyone have pictures of Jet Black with Souveran on it?

Much thanks!

I am about it do Souveran over Klasse in a few weeks on a black Escalade. I think it will look very good. Here are some shots of S100 over AIO on my green 4Runner. Souveran is better for dark colors than S100.

Enjoy

These cars are painted with a clearcoat over the color coat so the wax is on the clear coat. It does not make sense to me that what you put on the clear is going to effect how the color looks. The issue to me seems to be how well the wax protects the finish and whether it leaves a residue which distorts the color or doesn't allow all of the light through. That is the other issue to me which is does the wax protect the color from UV rays which some waxes claim that they do. Today's paints hold up much better than they did in past years and we are not applying wax to the color, so how would the wax make any difference with respect to color?

I'm not an expert, but I'll share what I think I know.

Each wax has different reflective and optical poperties. Some may give the appreance of a deeper wetter look which would highlight black or dark colors, others may be more relective giving an edge to a color like silver which has less depth, but to make it look very glossy. It just really depends on the look you are going for and like. I find that sealants like klasse and zaino give great shine and suprior protection, but may lack a little depth. Whereas P21s or Souveran give a more rich look, but lack the year long protection of the sealants.

Hence, for Jet Black there may be nothing better than AIO...SG x 2.....and then Pinnacle Souveran? This is my plan and I'd love to hear any other suggestions.

Hi all, I'm thinking of doing the same thing as JetStream23, only I have never used either Klasse or Pinnacle. So my question is this, do either of these products ruin/color the black plastic body trim? My previous
Bimmer was a coupe, so with its colored trim I never had to worry about this. Also, is autogeeks the recommended place to pick up both items? Thanks for any input.

I know for a fact that Klasse AIO will not stain black trim. I use it on the entire exterior except on the windshield and anything that is rubber.

Yea, AIO will not harm black stuff, infact I have used it to remove stains on black trim.

I do use AIO on my windshield to get water spots off, works very good.
